by Bus
Together with the Bassliner project, we will take you directly to the festival from numerous German and international metropolitan regions. Relaxed, safe and at fair prices, you'll travel by bus to Lärz, meet like-minded people on the way and start your festival time in a good mood.
Your destination: directly to the Fusion ZOB, the festival bus station - without the hustle and bustle of crowded trains or the annoying transfer in Neustrelitz.
Unfortunately, there are currently hardly any barrier-free travel buses. A foldable wheelchair can be transported in the luggage compartment. The Bassliner crew will be pleased if special needs and notes are communicated to them in advance by e-mail. All inquiries regarding Bassliner trips can be sent directly to buero@bassliner.org.
It's worth booking early! All information and booking at: bassliner.org
Important: The journey with Bassliner is only possible with a valid festival ticket.
by Car
When coming from Hamburg or Berlin on the A24, take the A19 towards Rostock. Then take the second exit (junction 18 at Röbel) and follow the B198 towards Neustrelitz. After the small town of Vietzen, turn right onto the Lärz airfield.
Beware: there are two speed cameras on the B198!
By Shuttle bus
Shuttle buses run between Neustrelitz and Fusion-ZOB. The shuttle buses wait at night for the last trains arriving in Neustrelitz from Berlin and Hamburg. Travelling from Neustrelitz to the Fusion Festival is not possible without a valid festival ticket. The shuttle buses depart from the Rummelplatz in Neustrelitz, which is about 5 minutes' walk from the railway station.
The shuttle buses from Neustrelitz to the festival site are regular city buses, most of which are also equipped with a ramp. If you need assistance on arrival, our Fusion helpers will be happy to help you. You will recognize them by their yellow vests. They can find out when the next bus with a ramp is waiting and will also help you with your luggage if necessary. You may have to wait for the next bus with a ramp.
From when to when the buses run and how much a journey costs will be published here in the coming days.
by Taxi
There are plenty of taxis running between Neustrelitz and the festival – a handy alternative to our shuttle buses. Depending on your negotiation skills and demand, the fare is usually between €35 and €50.
by Train
Every year, the rail connection from Berlin to Neustrelitz is expected to be overloaded. We recommend taking the earliest possible trains. The shuttle service Neustrelitz <-> Lärz starts on Wednesday at 6.30 am.
There will be disruptions to rail services throughout the entire arrival and departure period for Fusion 2025.
What we know so far:
- The RE5 does not start from Berlin to Neustrelitz, instead it goes from Oranienburg.
- Oranienburg can only be reached from Berlin with the S1.
- In addition, a replacement bus service is planned between Berlin and Oranienburg.
- The IC train between Berlin and Rostock via Neustrelitz will not run.
- From July 1, the Tuesday after the Fusion, there will be no more trains between Waren an der Müritz/Neustrelitz and Berlin, only buses as a rail replacement service.
Alternatives to the train: MitFahrZentrale or Bassliner
Fare tickets:
From Berlin and Brandenburg, the Brandenburg-Ticket is the best choice. 5 people can travel from 9am on all RE and IR trains and also on underground and suburban trains in Berlin for €33. At weekends it is also valid before 9am. The Brandenburg-Ticket is valid as far as Neustrelitz in Mecklenburg.
If you are travelling from Hamburg, you can use the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern or Schleswig-Holstein ticket.
People travelling by train from other parts of Germany may also be interested in the DB's ‘Quer-durchs-Land-Ticket’.
Otherwise there is also the Deutschlandticket.
Festival start Wednesday – 5 days of party?
Wednesday will be a Fusion day. That doesn't mean that the open-air floors will already be turning up. They will start in the old tradition from 6 pm on Thursday.
On Wednesday, we start at 4 pm on various stages with an exquisite programme of concerts, theatre, circus and club events. Wednesday also offers space for quieter sounds, time for communication, to meet old friends and new ones, to chill out and barbecue and to explore the festival site. With a broad but rather relaxed programme spectrum, you can land comfortably in the Fusion cosmos.
The festival gates will open on Wednesday at 7 am.
We therefore urge you in the strongest possible terms not to arrive before Wednesday. If you do, it’ll result in no small amount of annoyance and chaos and will, ultimately, just cause delays for everyone arriving on Wednesday. It will not be possible to enter the festival site on Tuesday and you won’t find any parking or camping facilities outside the festival site then either.
With own Bus
Groups with their own bus must register their journey with us. You will then receive a pass for access to the private bus area at the ZOB. You can find the registration form here.

Arrival
Shuttles
The shuttle buses from Neustrelitz to the festival site are regular city buses, most of which are also equipped with a ramp. If you need assistance on arrival, our Fusion helpers will be happy to help you. You will recognize them by their yellow vests. They can find out when the next bus with a ramp is waiting and will also help you with your luggage if necessary. You may have to wait for the next bus with a ramp.
Bassliner
Unfortunately, there are currently hardly any barrier-free travel buses. A foldable wheelchair can be transported in the luggage compartment. The Bassliner crew will be pleased if special needs and notes are communicated to them in advance by e-mail. All inquiries regarding Bassliner trips can be sent directly to buero@bassliner.org.
Car
The arrival on Wednesday is combined with long waiting times in the car queue. If you want to avoid these waiting times, we recommend arriving at a later time. If long waiting times are not possible, please send an email to barrierefrei@fusion-festival.de and we will try to find a solution.
Accompanying person
If you have a B on your disability card, you can bring a companion to the festival free of charge. Of course, you will need a valid festival ticket for this. We would be delighted if you could register your companion in advance at barrierefrei@fusion-festival.de. Please send us your name, your order number and the name and e-mail address of the person accompanying you.
Of course, we also accept other proof for people who are not from Germany and do not have a disability card with a B rating.
Camp
We have a barrier-free camp that is located centrally. The central location allows relatively short distances to most of the stages. However, the location also means that it is not particularly quiet there. The camp is located on the side of an asphalt road and is laid out with paving slabs. There are cooling facilities, electricity and camp beds for those who cannot sleep in a tent. The camp is supervised by a small crew. If you would like to camp in the barrier-free camp, please register in advance. For space reasons, unfortunately only one accompanying person can be brought along. For registration and other matters, please contact barrierefrei@fusion-festival.de.
There will be barrier-free toilets and showers in several places on the site. These will be marked on the site map. If you would like to know in advance where the barrier-free sanitary facilities can be found, you can contact us by e-mail from mid-June.
Festival site
The festival grounds are on a flat surface. The main paths are asphalted and connect most of the stages and hubs. In general, (almost) all paths are on firm ground. In very bad weather, there are a few paths which can then become softened or slippery. The site is not completely barrier-free. We are constantly working on improvements to accessibility and barrier-free access.
Some of the old aircraft hangars have been converted into stages, which are at ground level and have a cement floor. Some have a second level which is not accessible. The ground of some floors consists of sand or wood chips, which means that barrier-free access is not possible at every point. Other floors have a grass surface and are relatively accessible. Our largest concert stage (Palapa) has an accessible viewing platform.
Some bars have lowered counters in places and can be reached on solid ground.
Sanitary facilities
There will be barrier-free toilets and showers in several places on the site.
These will be marked on the site map. If you would like to know in advance where the barrier-free sanitary facilities can be found, you can contact us by e-mail from mid-June.
Animals
Please leave your dogs, cats, guinea pigs, goldfish and any other pets at home! Local authorities have ruled that the entire festival area is off-limits for dogs and pets. Dogs and other pets must therefore remain in the camping area. Free-running dogs will be brought to the animal shelter at the owners expenses.
Black Market
With so much demand and so little supply, it seems inevitable that profiteers, gamblers and other assholes will try to take advantage of the situation and enrich themselves.
The tickets are non-transferable, the guest's name is on them.
This puts us in a good legal and technical position to prevent overpriced resale. In our own Kulturkosmos Ticket:Bourse, sellers and buyers find each other.
If you are angry about the capitalist gamblers, you are welcome to tell them what you think. We count on you to intervene on your own initiative, to speak your mind and simply not play along.
Don't fall for dubious offers - the only way to get a festival wristband is through the advance ticket sales (raffles) or the Ticket:Bourse on our website.
Camping
The camping area will open on the Wednesday at 7am and have to be cleared during the day after the festival on Tuesday. There are no electricity points for campers in the camping area.
There are extra tickets for large carts and caravans over 6.5 metres in length. You will also need an additional ticket if you want to enter our island areas by car. All about this in the Ticket area.
Cars at the camping area
- You need an additional ticket if you want to enter our island areas with your car or stand on a lawn with a vehicle or caravan longer than 6.50 metres. All information can be found in the FAQs in our ticket area.
- If neither of the two above-mentioned wishes applies, you can come to our camping area (except the island) with your car as long as there is still space available.
- You don't want to sleep in your car anyway? Then please use our car parking spaces! The car parking spaces are within walking distance and free of charge.
Cash machine / ATM
There's a cash machine / ATM at the tower near the main entrance and the central bus station (ZOB) on the air field. There will be transactional fees.
Children and Teenagers
Fusion from 18 means that people under 18 years of age are not allowed to enter the festival area, even if accompanied by their parents. Admission will only be granted to people who are on festival start 18 years or older.
However, there will be no age checks at the entrances and accesses to the camping areas I1 to I4 (known as the "Insel" or formerly "Ruhe & Family Camping"). It would still be possible to bring children and young people here. Nonetheless, these camping areas are known to be fully occupied after only a few hours after the festival gates have opened. If you want to get here by car, you will need an additional ticket.
Anyone arriving with people under 18 after that will have to look for accommodation away from the festival grounds (campsites, holiday flats,...).
At all other festival entrances (vehicle or people), such as the footbridge, age checks will be carried out around the clock and only people over 18 will be allowed through.
Kulturkosmos enabled many parents and their children to experience Fusion together and even organised a supporting programme for the younger generation until 2023, even though it has been pointed out for years that this festival is not a suitable environment for children. A Fusion for all age groups, with the stricter requirements of the Youth Welfare Office (Jugendamt), would mean a considerable additional effort at the check-ins, the bars, the ticketing, the securities and for the youth protection responsibles. This effort is sadly out of proportion to the unfortunate and upsetting refusal of those parents who wanted to bring their children.
We hope that all Fusion parents will be able to place their children in trustworthy care at the end of June. For those who cannot or do not wish to do so, we ask for your understanding.
Deposit Raising
The rules of the game are very simple:
All bottles purchased at our bars should either be returned to the bars, or placed in the beverage crates at the designated stations. It would be nice if these bottles are not used as ashtrays and do not lie in the dirt forever, because then they will be sorted out and destroyed by the brewery after the return.
All other bottles that are not from our bars are foreign glass. These must be disposed of at the glass stations in the IBC plastic tanks. Foreign bottles all go into the broken glass i.e. glass recycling, as it is impossible for us to collect all the different bottles (about 150,000 pieces), sort them and return them to the manufacturing companies. If you bring deposit bottles, take them home again - for the sake of the environment.
Garbage must be disposed of in the garbage cans provided for this purpose and not in the broken glass plastic tanks! Otherwise we have to laboriously and manually separate it from the broken glass.
Solicoin
If you want to buy a bottled drink at one of the festival bars, you either have to bring and hand in an empty glass bottle of your choice, or pay a solitaire of €0.50 as a surcharge for your bottled drink. This Solicoin goes into a donation pot and is donated by Kuko after the festival to organizations that support people who are fleeing.
You collect - We donate
All those who bring glass bottles to the festival should feel responsible that they are not left everywhere and have to be picked up and disposed of by others. Only together we can solve the problem with this amount of bottles. We will provide the 100 collection points and you should dispose of your bottles there. To support this process ideally, the Kuko donates 0,10 € for each bottle that ends up in an IBC plastic tank into the donation pot.
Donations for people on the move
We want to donate to organizations, that supporting people who are fleeing.
Drones
Drones are officially prohibited over our area. Please just leave them at home.
Entrance
The festival gates open on Wednesday at 7:00 am!
The program starts very slowly on Wednesday evening and the big floors start on Thursday 6 pm.
We therefore urge you in the strongest possible terms not to arrive before Wednesday. If you do, it’ll result in no small amount of annoyance and chaos and will, ultimately, just cause delays for everyone arriving on Wednesday. It will not be possible to enter the festival site or the island camping site on Tuesday and you won’t find any parking or camping facilities outside the festival site then either. The first shuttle buses will leave Neustrelitz at 6:30 am on Wednesday.
If you arrive before Wednesday, you will have to find accommodation elsewhere, for example, on the campsite at the Canoo station in Mirow. The campsite is situated right next to a lake and you can comfortably camp there before, during and after the festival.
Fireworks, sky lanterns etc.
Even though fireworks express joy – and we want nothing more than for you to have fun – fireworks are an absolute no-go during the festival!
The constant use of fireworks in recent years has seriously pissed off a lot of people. Sillyness and incompetence have also led to a number of serious incidents and in a few cases people have been injured – lucky not to be badly but still. That means anyone caught selling bangers or rockets will be immediately thrown out. Anyone we catch using fireworks will get an unpleasant earful and be forced to spend a day cleaning the fire engines! Sky lanterns are also an absolute no-go on the festival: they are like flying matches and can cause serious wild forest fires.
Please do not make campfires. Charcoal barbecues are no problem.
Garbage
Festivals produce garbage – that's why we have the garbage fee. Please leave the camping site like you found it in the beginning. The disposal of your garbage through our helpers after the festival leads to back ache and sometimes just to head-shaking. Please use the pocket ashtrays which you can get at the bars and info points and please use another place to dump your old furniture (old sofas ...). There is no place for confetti in nature and it's really grotty to clean it up. Please take care that you remove all tent pegs and metall you put in the soil.
The camping areas are pasture for feeding animals – forgotten tent pegs only piss off the farmer afterwards.
Graffiti and tag-free zones
Fusion festival is proud to be 100% free of advertising. This also applies to all those who narcissistically want to spray their tag in what is a public space.
Stupidity, ignorance and people obsessed with their image and ego have caused huge damage in recent years and this has cost us an enormous amount of money! Dixies and toilet containers, showers and tents are rented by us. We had to pay dearly afterwards for the cleaning of the tags and graffiti. We and many other Fusionists find this incredibly frustrating and it has made us pretty angry.
Think about it: Fusion festival offers a whole load of spaces for street art in its many creative forms. But other spaces, objects and equipment at the festival are off limits and must remain unchanged!
These graffiti and tag-free zones are marked with a crystal-clear pictogram. If you don't respect this rule, you will have to leave the festival and pay for the damage. In the recent years, this approach has shown that respect can be learned.
Guide
The festival programme is packed with all the information you need during the festival, plus a map and – most important of all – a timetable with all the stages and acts. The festival programme is included in the price of your ticket and you’ll receive it at the gates, along with your wristband and trash bag.
Liability
You enter the festival at your own risk and responsibility. Kulturkosmos e.V. and Fusion Festival can not be held accountable for any material damage that may occur on the festival site, for example in the context of an artist's performance.
Local Tickets
Local tickets are available for residents who would like to discover the festival. Tickets will be available from 4 p.m. on the Saturday of the festival at the embassies in front of the entrances. Tickets will not go on sale any earlier.
All persons over 50 and resident in the municipalities listed below pay €30 (without trash deposit) All persons over 18 and under 50 and resident in the municipalities listed below pay 60€ (including trash deposit).
Municipalities: Alt Gaarz – Boeker Mühle – Buchholz – Gaarzer Mühle – Granzow – Ichlim – Kieve – Kotzow – Kuhlmühle – Krümmel – Lärz – Leussow – Melz – Mirow – Neu Gaarz – Peetsch – Priborn – Qualzow – Troja – Schwarz – Seweko – Starsow – Solzow – Rechlin – Retzow – Vietzen – Vipperow – Zielow
Medical Services
Fusion thrives thanks to your imagination and creativity, and because of our common responsibility to each other and to nature. Acting responsibly means looking after yourself too. So please remember to bring a decent basic first aid kit (plasters, antiseptic cream, etc.), any medicines you take regularly, and don’t forget suncream and a sunhat!
The festival is in the middle of the countryside. There aren’t exactly a load of medical services on our doorstep and the next hospital is 25 km away. If you notice that you have a health issue before the festival, sort it out at home. Also, please don’t clog up our Medics tent with trifling issues like a lack of plasters or aspirin. Makes sure you bring those kinds of things with you for you and your friends!
Nazis
Nazis, chauvinists and racists of all likes are not welcome and should not gain access to the festival. To guarantee this, we ask you to stay alert. If you see anyone who clearly identifies themselves as having extreme right-wing, nationalist or rascist views, please help us to immediately remove them from the festival. Inform the Fusion security crew immediately if you see any neo-Nazis or racists.
Parking
Everybody who is not sleeping in their car, please leave it at our big parking space. You can reach it easily by walking and it is free of charge. Unbeatable advantage: nobody can block your car with their tent or car and you can leave whenever you want to.
Party Break
As usual, there will be a party break on Friday, Saturday and Sunday noon. This gives us a chance to collect the rubbish from the main dance floors, and everyone else the opportunity to chill out for a while. It also means the smaller stages get a bit more attention.
The chill-out breaks will be on Friday from 11 am to 2 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm and Sunday from 12am to 2pm.
Photos
Please respect the wish for a protected free space where we all - guests, artists, crews - can be who we want to be: free, uncontrolled and unphotographed.
We urgently ask you to handle your photos and films responsibly so that the right to one's own image is protected.
Uploading photos and videos with identifiable fusionists who have not given their consent is a definite no-go!
Police controls in Neustrelitz
Expect to be checked by the federal police at the station if you arrive via Neustrelitz station.
In the case of a control:
The Federal Police naturally have various powers in this context, but in short, they always require a factual reason. If you feel that you have been unfairly addressed/treated, ask for the reason for the measure and a file number. No matter what reason the police give for their action, you must and should not say anything that could incriminate yourself.
Program
The music programme will remain largely unannounced as far as well-known DJs and bands are involved and will be published in full in the guide and in the programme app to the festival.
We still want to offer a platform on our website for the theatre and film programme, as well as for unusual but largely unknown acts.
We also see this as an assistance for you, so that you can then locate your individual gems in the festival crowd and not miss them.
From the beginning of June, programme information will therefore be available on the website for all pearl divers and treasure hunters.
Propaganda
...you can find on your way to the Harbour space. There you can get Shirts and Hoodies with Fusion prints while stocks last – so just check out our Propaganda stall or just be creative!
Safe Area
You can store everything that you would rather not leave in your tent in the Safe Area. You can also charge your phone here. This is also Fusion’s lost & found. If you lose anything during the festival, you can contact the crew afterwards at safe@fusion-festival.de.
Shopping
Forgot your suncream or toothbrush? You can buy essential items, along with fresh fruit and bread, at the Konsum supermarket on the festival site. It’s located in the Circus Tent (Zirkuszelt) in camping area B4.
A shuttle bus will take you close to the supermarket.
Fusion ZOB → Mirow an der Jugendherberge → Netto → Bhf Mirow → Edeka und Aldi → Fusion ZOB
Showers
You’ll find cold showers at the Shower Tower and in the Bachstelzen area.
There are warm showers, toilets and cultural entertainment available at the Waschsalon (behind the Luftschloss), at the Oase (in the middle of the camping area) and in front of the Workshop hangar.
Shuttle
Shuttle Neustrelitz There are plenty of shuttle buses between Neustrelitz railway station and Fusion ZOB. You find more information here.
Shuttle Mirow A shuttle bus runs between Mirow and the festival site. The route can be found in the ‘Shopping’ section.
Bassliner Buses run from many cities in Germany and beyond directly to the festival site and back. You can find all information directly at bassliner.org
Social Media
We do not operate any pages or profiles on the Internet apart from our website. Everything that looks like Fusion has been created by other people.
Stop Thor Steinar
Wearing Thor Steinar and similar brands that represent a nationalistic or German national lifestyle is absolutely undesirable at Fusion!
Sunday Tickets
On Fusion Sunday, you can buy day tickets for €70 from 8am to 4pm at the "Botschaft" (embassy).
As long as the contingent lasts, Sunday tickets can be purchased online via our Ticket Shop for €65. Everything else under Tickets.
Thunderstorm
We booked the best festival weather. However, in case of an approaching thunderstorm we will interrupt the party. If there is no more music on the stages and floors, but you hear announcements, we really mean it! The festival ground is not safe in case of a big thunderstorm. In that case, leave the party ground and go to the camping site, to your tents and cars.
In case of heavy lightning the safest place to be is inside a car. Switch on the warning lights to signal to others that you still have space. Staying up on a hangar is a really bad idea. Do not try to leave the camping site with your car, keep emergency routes free! Whenever the storm is over, we will turn up the music again and the party can go on.
Tickets
Fusion Festival 2025 ist sold out. Day tickets are only available for Sunday. More information under Sunday tickets.
In order not to expose ourselves to the risk that many people cancel their tickets at short notice and we are then left holding the bag, we have activated a Ticket:Bourse where you can offer your festival ticket (as well as an XL camper - or Island vehicle ticket) and also still get hold of tickets.
Toilets
Since 2022, the use of all toilets is free of charge, whether Dixi, compost toilets, rocket toilets or WC Royal. There are several positions on the camping areas where a larger number of Dixis stand together. They are emptied three times a day. Our «WC royal», i.e. toilet containers with ceramic bowls and flushing water, are located at five different spots. These toilets are looked after and cleaned on a regular basis. There are new stations with compost toilets, which we are constantly expanding so that soon no one will need a Dixi any more. You are still welcome to make a small donation, as the groups in charge all work for projects worthy of support.
Trash Deposit
Each ticket is sold with an additional 10 € trash deposit. When you arrive at the festival, you’ll be given a big plastic trash bag at the gate, along with your wristband and festival programme. If you return this bag full of trash before you leave, you will get the 10 € back. And yo - it’s not cool to steal other people’s trash!
New this year is the digital trash deposit token on the chip on the wristband. The trash deposit is redeemed there when you hand in the filled trash bag on departure.
Water
You can fill your water containers and bottles with drinking water at the shower tower and at various drinking water stations around the festival area. The big dance floors will also have water bars giving out free drinking water.
