Dear Fusionists,
A short but important message from Lärz today: travelling to and from Fusion Festival 2025.
Deutsche Bahn informed us at the end of March about planned route cancellations at the time of arrival and departure for Fusion Festival. To this day, however, they have not seen fit to communicate this publicly - let alone cancel ticket sales for the non-existent connections. The massive restrictions affect everyone who wants to travel by train to or from Neustrelitz via Berlin. Connections to Rostock will also be affected from July1 onwards.
Current status of Fusion 2025 arrivals and departures: There will be disruptions to rail services throughout the entire arrival and departure period.
What we know so far:
- The RE5 does not start from Berlin to Neustrelitz, instead it goes from Oranienburg.
- Oranienburg can only be reached from Berlin with the S1.
- In addition, a replacement bus service is planned between Berlin and Oranienburg.
- The IC train between Berlin and Rostock via Neustrelitz will not run.
- From July 1, the Tuesday after the Fusion, there will be no more trains between Waren an der Müritz/Neustrelitz and Berlin, only buses as a rail replacement service.
We are currently waiting for a viable replacement concept from the Deutschland Bahn and the regional transport association that adequately covers the journey to Fusion. A rail replacement service with buses between Berlin-Gesundbrunnen and Oranienburg station is being discussed in order to prevent the S-Bahn line S1 from collapsing.
However, it is already clear that travelling by train on long-distance and regional services will be accompanied by considerable disruptions, uncertainties and waiting times. These restrictions have not yet been announced in the railway timetable information.
Alternatives
As soon as we have a viable rail replacement concept, we will inform you about the exact plans. Regardless of this, we ask you:
- Form car pools! - Our car pool is looking forward to seeing you.
- People with cars, campers, rockets: Offer free places! Everyone counts.
- Use the BASSLINER! They drive directly to site. It could hardly be more relaxed.
(Our own carpooling exchange will be launched at the end of next week together with our new website and you can already offer or search for rides in the Fusion Forum).
Despite all this:
We're not going to let Deutsche Bahn spoil our anticipation. Spring is here, the fusion vibes are rolling in, and we're up to our noses in planning a fantastic festival.
Ticket:Bourse
It's been open again since 5 May: our eagerly awaited, sometimes frustrating, but ultimately saving Ticket:Bourse!
You have a ticket for Fusion, but suddenly life gets in the way? Don't worry - you don't have to sell it on dodgy Telegram groups. Just post it on the Ticket:Börse. Quite officially, quite legally, quite in the spirit of the collective.
And for all those who have so far come away empty-handed and thought they'd have to make do with barbecues in the park this summer: Now is your chance! With a bit of luck and patience, you might be able to get your hands on a well sought after Fusion ticket. The closer the festival gets, the more people want to get rid of their tickets and the chances of reselling them increase.
There are also still some Sunday tickets on sale.
Important: The Ticket:Börse is the only legitimate way to get a Fusion ticket or to pass one on. Everything else is either fraud, black market or simply a scam.
Whether travelling by bike, car, bus, train or magic carpet - see you at the end of June on the most beautiful field in northern Germany!
